Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I decided it was finally time to do a full write-up! I’ve also broken them in well that I feel like I have a good grip on their quality, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where were you able to get your pair?
Cettire had them on sale and I took advantage right away!
I ordered them on the 28th of April and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast .
How much do they cost?
I snagged a pair for $385.43, though they usually retail for around $513.91.

How does the sizing run?
I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair.
They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re in the middle, I’d go up
Is the comfort worth it?
They felt good almost immediately. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since my feet get sweaty. High-end Italian leather construction, so it’s much more pleasant than breaking in plastic-based shoes. Plus, they’re already softened so your feet just get comfortable fast.
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Because they already look worn, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. They include a built-in arch bump that adds support and height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is one of a kind. And the glitter on mine? Stunning.
Would you recommend them?
Absolutely! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is worth it. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you get a pair you love. I went bold with sparkle, but a low-key version would also go with everything.
